Coach development program to help local coaches boost grassroots competition

Netball Fiji in partnership with Netball Australia organised a coaching development program where a total of 17 local coaches attended from 11th - 13th September at the Vodafone Arena. The coaches had the opportunity to take part in the foundation coaching course which is a requirement for foundation coach accreditation, participants also attained their foundation coach accreditation undergo two days of coaching course where they got their development coach accreditation. Netball Fiji pays tribute to former President Alisi Tabete

It is with great sadness that Netball Fiji learned of the passing of former Netball Fiji President Adi Alisi Tulia Toganivalu Tabete at the age of 70. Alice Tabete, as she was more commonly known, had a long association with netball in Fiji. She was a member of the Tiki Netball team that regularly competed at the old Thurston Gardens courts. Fiji's top umpires, Litia Rabitu and Yvonne Vaka, have achieved their goal of obtaining New Zealand umpires badges, a significant accomplishment in their officiating careers.
