Baby Pearls head coach Simone Nalatu is working closely with her players refine all areas before they depart for Gibraltar.
The Baby Pearls continue to train and work on all areas as they’re drawing closer to their 2025 Netball World Youth Cup opener against Trinidad & Tobago.
Head coach Nalatu said that they’re focusing on all specific areas of their game before they take the court for their first match.
“All players including overseas players will be in the country on 1st September.”
“We will have approximately 2 weeks to refine any last areas before we arrive in Gibraltar.”
The Baby Pearls current schedule includes 5 training sessions per week which covers court sessions, endurance, and gym.
Nalatu said that the team will continue their scrimmage sessions in training as they’re looking to get more gametime.
Nalatu also confirmed that they’ve secured practice matches with the Wales U21 when they
arrive in Gibraltar.
“We have practice match and at least two training sessions scheduled when we arrive in
Gibraltar.
The team will depart for Gibraltar on the 12th September, the Baby Pearls will take on
Trinidad & Tobago in their World Cup opener on the 19th September.
