NewsNetball Fiji continues Development clinic in Naitasiri

Netball Fiji Umpires manager Losalini Bainivalu took part in the three days “Educate the Educator” development program in Naitasiri last week.

The program was organized by Fiji Sports Commission where development team conduct clinics and workshop to upskill the key people who will develop Netball and other sports at grassroots level.

The main participants were teachers, community coaches, and officials. Through these programs the educators have been equipped with fundamentals and skills of sports development, ensuring that children in school learn the fundamental skills
needed to grow both on and off the field, while community clubs continue to develop.

Teachers from various schools in Naitasiri attended, they went through coaching and umpiring clinic, as they’re preparing for their upcoming tournament.

Netball Fiji also donated few sets of netball uniforms to the Naitasiri Highlanders Schools Netball Association, with the support of the Fiji National Sports Commission. This assistance will help the teams in their upcoming tournaments.
