Netball Fiji convened a presidential meeting to engage with leaders from major associations regarding the upcoming 2024 FinanceHub Super League season.

Scheduled to kick off later this month, the official launch of the 2024 FinanceHub Super League will be another significant milestone for Netball Fiji in hosting its second Super League season.

The presidential meeting allowed Netball Fiji to facilitate a dialogue among its key stakeholders, including the Netball Fiji Executive Committee, to address all aspects of the forthcoming Super League season.

Netball Fiji CEO Vivian Koster said; “We are pleased to once again partner with Finance Hub to host the Super League in 2024.”

“We have made changes to the Finance Hub Super League this year with each team having the opportunity to host matches. The idea is each host can play in front of their home crowd and generate more excitement for their teams and local netball competitions.”

“Another change we have made is to increase the number of teams competing in the Finance Hub Super League. We have added 2 more teams taking the total to 8. The 2 teams are Kikau and Kacau which comprise 21&U squad members. The Finance Hub Super League will provide the 21&U squad opportunity to have continuous match play as they prepare for the Netball World Youth Cup in 2025”, Koster added.

The Finance Hub Super League will run for 7 weeks in a round-robin format followed by a finals day where each team will play for rankings.
