National Coach, Unaisi Rokoura, stated “It has been an extended selection process to ensure athletes had every opportunity to earn themselves a spot in the Netball World Cup team. The selectors and I together with the Specialist Coaches, Yvette McCausland-Durie and Cathy Fellows, are proud of all the athletes that put their hand up to trial and ultimately represent Fiji. We thank all athletes for their commitment and effort.”

Netball Fiji CEO, Vivian Koster stated “We are proud to announce the Fiji team to the 2023 Netball World Cup. We are equally proud of all the athletes in the squad who gave their all to secure a spot on the team. We are only able to name 12 players plus 3 reserves but we do so knowing the fight that each player in the broader squad put up to make it. We wish the Fiji Pearls well in the Netball World Cup, and ask for the support and prayers from the people of Fiji towards our team.”
