The 2023 netball season is shaping up to be the most exciting yet, as Netball Fiji and its member associations gear up to bring the sport to new heights. With plans underway to expand tournaments to teams from rural and maritime zones, the upcoming season promises to be a thrilling showcase of talent and teamwork from across Fiji

Netball Fiji has been working around the clock to ensure a smooth start to the season.

Netball Fiji CEO Vivian Koster said that the excitement is building up towards the start of a new season.

“We’ve been working hard to make sure everything is in place for a successful season, and we’re confident that our member associations and other district teams will be gearing up too.”

Last weekend Nasinu and Suva netball associations’ both held their first club knockout competition with the other associations to begin their club competitions in the weeks to come.

With the start of the new season just around the corner, all member associations have been busy training and preparing for upcoming national tournaments.

Netball Fiji’s main competition the Finance Hub Super League is scheduled for the 27th of May where six major associations Suva, Nasinu, Tailevu, Nadroga, Nadi, and Lautoka will be competing over 7 weeks for the title of Super League Champion.

Other national tournaments scheduled for the 2023 season includes the Men’s Championship, the Vanua Cup, National Championship, Youth Championship, and the Schools Tournament.
