Netball Fiji is pleased to announce a joint pre-season training camp for its national men’s netball team and the Fiji Pearls team, scheduled for Saturday, 14 February 2026, as part of preparations for a busy competitive calendar ahead.
The one-day camp will bring together athletes and coaching staff from both squads to focus on conditioning and skills enhancement ahead of major 2026 competitions.
The Fiji Pearls will be gearing up for a series of tournaments- 1 local and 3 overseas scheduled throughout July, August, September and October, as part of their campaign to compete at the highest levels and try to compete to improve its ranking.
Meanwhile, the Fiji men’s netball team is preparing for the May Invitational Series, where they will compete against international opponents and continue building on recent strong performances. The series represents a key milestone in the development of men’s netball in Fiji and will offer crucial match practice ahead of future international fixtures.
This combined camp highlights Netball Fiji’s commitment to ensure elite performance standards across both the men’s and women’s programs. By aligning training for both teams, the organisation aims to promote capacity building among coaching staff, strengthen physical and mental readiness, and provide a platform for shared learning.
Netball Fiji emphasized the importance of the combined sessions: “Bringing our national teams together ahead of key fixtures in 2026 reflects our how we want to approach performance, collaboration, and excellence in our high-performance space. We are confident this camp will set the tone for a successful year for both teams.”
Following the weekend camp, both squads will with tailored training programs leading up to their respective competitive schedules.
