The Baby Pearls is set to host the IBM Blaze Netball 21&U and the New South Wales Fijian 21&U teams in an exciting invitational tournament from 7–11 July 2025 at the Vodafone Arena, Suva.
The exciting event will feature some of the top players from these two clubs in Australia playing against our Fiji Pearls extended squad.
The tournament will be more than just a showcase of talent as it will serve as a crucial preparation platform for our Baby Pearls ahead of the Netball World Youth Cup in Gibraltar.
Baby Pearls head coach Simone Nalatu emphasized the importance of this campaign as “an invaluable opportunity for players to hone their skills and as a team to fine-tune strategies, and strengthen team cohesion in preparation for the campaign that lies ahead.”
Coach Nalatu has also released her 27 extended squad that will feature for the Baby Pearls Kacau and Kikau side. The 27-member squad comprises both local and overseas based athletes who have been actively competing in various leagues and have expressed their commitment to representing Fiji.
Netball Fiji acknowledges the support of the Fiji National Sports Commission and our PacificAusSports Partnership for their support of the event given its importance to help us play these visiting teams and select our best.
