Netball Fiji acknowledges receipt of queries regarding a call for a Special General Meeting (SGM) and a motion of no confidence from the Suva Netball Association.
As a member-driven organization, Netball Fiji operates within its constitution which clearly outlines the process for convening an SGM and we will work closely with our affiliated districts and Council to ensure adherence to this process to address the motions raised.
Netball Fiji remains committed to transparency, good governance, and the best interests of the sport and its stakeholders. We assure our members and the wider netball community that all matters will be handled with fairness, and in accordance with our governing principles.
At this time, the Executive Committee is reviewing the request and will respond and act accordingly within the prescribed governance framework.
We encourage all members to uphold the spirit of constructive dialogue and unity as we work together to advance the growth and development of netball in Fiji.
