The Fiji Netball Association (FNA), trading as Netball Fiji, is responsible for the leadership, development, and provision of netball opportunities across Fiji. The FNA is part of the Australian Government’s Pacific Women’s Sport Administration Program (PWSA) that is managed by Netball Australia. This program aims to ensure:
1. The governance and administration of Pacific sports organisations is strengthened.
2. The number of women in decision-making and leadership roles in Pacific sports organisations is increased;
3. Access to safe and inclusive sporting competitions and facilities is improved, encouraging higher participation of women and girls
FNA therefore invites applications for the position of Chief Executive Officer.
The CEO will be responsible for planning and delivering the PWSA Program Work Plan and contributing to the sport development priorities of FNA including the execution of its Strategic Plan. The CEO will report to the FNA Executive Committee and prepare regular progress reports on the Work Plan implementation for FNA and Netball Australia. The CEO will manage the FNA office and staff, and work with volunteers, partner organizations, and international associations as required.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills required:
· Fiji resident
· A Degree in Business Management or relevant equivalent
· 5+ years of Senior Management experience with financial, and commercial background
· Understanding of Sports administration and development
· The ability to work and communicate with a range of stakeholders.
· Understanding of governance and demonstrated ability to work effectively with an Executive Committee.
· The ability to work independently.
· Extensive knowledge of reporting, budgeting, grant, and funding application writing
· Demonstrated experience in managing projects.
This is a full-time role based at the FNA Office in Suva.
