The Fiji 21&U Squad members will compete in a 3-match series against the touring Aotearoa Maori Netball Team. The Squad is divided into a Fiji 18 & Under team and a Fiji 19 & Over team.
he Aotearoa Maori team is a selection of the best secondary school players of Maori heritage. This is their first tour of Fiji, and they are looking forward to both the tour and the matches against the Fiji 21&U squad.
Netball Fiji CEO Vivian Koster explained that the 3-match series is another opportunity for the Fiji 21&U squad members to have
international match play.
“Those Fiji 21&U squad members that did not go to the World Cup Qualifiers in the Cook Islands have the opportunity for international match play. It is an opportunity to continue to fight for a position in the final team for the Netball World Youth Cup in 2025.”
The Fiji v Aotearoa Maori matches will be played at the FNU Gym in Nasinu.
Saturday 28th- 1:30pm match starts
Monday 30th- 6:30pm match starts
Tuesday 1st- 6:30pm match starts
The entry fee is $3 per person
