NewsAll Stars Netball Series test national teams

Netball Fiji concluded its All Stars Netball Series today, wrapping up the five-day tournament which commenced on Thursday 9th May last week.

The event showcased an exhilarating netball matches and provided high-level game time experience for the National 21&U squad.

Fiji Pearls head coach Una Rokoura also utilized the tournament as a platform to assess her players as they prepare for the PacificAus Sports Netball Series in June.

Netball Fiji CEO, Ms. Vivian Koster, emphasized the success of the event, highlighting the quality match plays it provided for the Fiji Pearls, Baby Pearls and both the men’s team.

“Both the Men’s open team and Men’s U23 have provided quality high-level game time for the Fiji Pearls and the Baby Pearls,” said Ms. Koster.

Ms Koster added, “Both the Pearls and Baby Pearls have capitalized on the five-day tournament, testing their
fitness while the coaches fine-tune their gameplay and strategies.”

Meanwhile, the Men’s U23 and open team are also preparing for the upcoming Men’s championship scheduled for July.
