Lautoka Netball President Dorothy Prasad has highlighted the plans in place for the association to lay out a strategic plan as a guideline to develop and promote all players under the Lautoka Netball association.
Mrs Prasad said that the plan will guide the association in a path that will nurture their players, grow their talents and promote the players to represent Fiji in the near future.
“Where trying to do a lot of development at the moment, as you see our Lautoka Baby Stars won the National Grade and majority of them are 15 and 16 year olds, our Mens team played exceptionally well throughout the tournament and our premier grade was on top of their game,” said Mrs Prasad.
“Thats one of our main aim, the Lautoka Netball committee will lay out a strategic plan of how we’re going to promote these players to become netball stars and one day they could be playing for Fiji Pearls.”
“We have our dedicated coaches that are doing the training, its the support and dedication from all players as individual, and their parents that gave their time for their children to come in after school for their training and trails,”
Mrs Prasad knows that the most important part is how all their stakeholders involved are working closely together in building up the Lautoka Netball Association.
