NewsCapital Force Suva wins inaugural FinanceHub Super League Title

The Capital Force Suva emerged as the champions of the inaugural Finance Hub Super League title after a highly competitive match against the Nasinu Gold at the FMF Gymnasium.

Suva, boasting a star-studded team primarily composed of Fiji Pearls players, showcased their dominance throughout the game.

In the first quarter, Suva took the lead with a score of 20-12. They continued their strong performance in the second quarter, extending their lead to 37-29. Carrying their momentum into the third quarter, Suva added another 14 points, bringing the score to 51-42. In the final quarter, Suva displayed their swift attacking skills and robust defense, ultimately securing a 73-58 victory to close the grand finale.

The Nasinu Golds finished in second place, while the Lautoka Stars claimed the third-place position. The Ra Roosters took the fourth spot, followed by the Nadroga Stallions in fifth place. The Naitasiri Highlanders ended the league in sixth place.

The Lautoka Stars showcased some exciting plays in their impressive win against the Ra Roosters, with a final score of 67-30. The Lautoka players demonstrated a well-structured approach and effectively displayed their rhythm on the court.

The Nadroga Stallions displayed clinical play against the Naitasiri Highlanders, proving too strong for their opponents with a final score of 63-36. They executed fast plays and demonstrated good handling skills as they penetrated the Highlanders’ defence.
