As part of the partnership, Gilbert through its Fiji Distributor Sports World presented Netball Fiji with Gilbert International Match Netball Balls for the 2nd consecutive year.
The Gilbert – Netball Fiji partnership has allowed Netball Fiji to use top quality quantum match balls across all national tournaments and competitions.
This presentation of gilbert balls comes just in time for the upcoming Fiji 21&Under Invitational Series, which is scheduled to take place on the 7th of July at the Vodafone Arena, Suva.
Sportsworld General Manager Vinod Kumar explained that “Gilbert brand had already established a very good relationship and trust with Fiji Rugby and unions around the world, and it is very important that our ladies in Fiji are not missed out on this. Gilbert has positioned itself as the world’s leading producer for Rugby and Netballs” said Mr. Kumar.
“We believe in the power of sport to inspire young people and promote healthy living. Supporting Netball Fiji means we support women and girls having access to proper equipment to compete at all levels of competition.” said Kumar.
Netball Fiji President welcomed the timely support especially with the upcoming invitational Baby Pearls and Men’s international competition.
