NewsCapacity building workshop continues in Malolo Island

Netball Fiji Development unit continued its capacity building program around the country as sports development coordinator Mr. Gabrielli Qoro traveled to Malolo Island to conduct a three-day workshop for participants at the Island.

Participants included teachers, club coaches, umpires and game officials. Participants usually organize club games in the Island and the program was aimed at upskilling all officials and coaches before they roll out their weekly club meetings.

Mr. Qoro conducted a clinic to train and develop community coaches, umpires, school coaches, and other participants, he also delivered an emergency first aid workshop

The development program started from the Wednesday 18th to Friday 20th June at Malolo District school with a total of 36 participants altogether which included 14 staff of Plantation Resort.

Netball Fiji continues to reach out to various communities, villages and netball association to deliver development programs while continuing to ramp up its capacity building effort.
