The Baby Pearls Team Kikau managed to bag their first win in the second round of FinanceHub Super League against Tailevu Doves at the FNU Gymnasium earlier today.
The first game of round two was held on Thursday 4th July where Nasinu Tactix battled it out against Nadroga Stallions in an intense showdown that kept the fans off their feet. Nasinu managed to secure the victory 55-42 and get their first win of the season.
Current champion Suva Swifts IGA secure their second win of the season after beating the Baby Pearls Team Kacau 65-44 on Friday 5th July at the FMF Gymnasium, leaving the Baby Pearls Kacau tp their first loss of the season.
The last matchup of round 2 saw the two western teams Lautoka Stars and Nadi battling it out at the Nadi Muslim Multipurpose court, Lautoka Stars proved too strong for their Neibours Nadi Netball after claiming the victory at the final whistle 49-29.
Suva Swifts IGA and Lautoka Stars are on top of the table with 2 wins totalling to 6 points while Nasinu Tactix, Baby Pearls Kacau, Baby Pearls Kikau, and Nadroga all with 3 points, having one win and a loss. Nadi and Tailevu Doves are yet to secure a win.
The third-round matches are scheduled on the 13th of July, Suva Swifts IGA will take on Tailevu Doves while Baby Pearls Team Kacau takes on Nadroga Stallions, Nadi takes on Baby Pearls Team Kikau, while Nasinu Tactix is going up against Lautoka Stars.
