The Fiji Men’s Netball head coach Jioweli Vakamoce has announced his 15 member squad to participate at the All Stars Tournament next month at the FMF Gymnasium, Laucala.
The Men’s trials was held on Saturday 16th March 2024 and an extended squad have been selected as the team continued their training before the final squad was selected last weekend to represent Fiji Men’s to the All Stars Tournament.
Fiji Men’s head coach Jioweli Vakamoce explained that the selectors focused on four components as their selection based criteria, these components included performance, fitness, attitude and attendance.
“It was understood that trials is nerve-racking and an idea of a “perfect player” would not be the option but a player that can execute the basics well, work well as part of the team, read the game and adapt to the situation on court, will be the one selected. All players were advised not to panic but to relax, enjoy and do what they do best when trialing,” said Mr.Vakamoce.
